This weekend workshop will present the foundations of Taoist QiGong within the lineage of Eva Wong. While performing gentle and relaxing exercises, participant will learn how to work with body, breath and mind.
QiGong (pron. Chi-kung) is a set of exercise aimed at enhancing health and longevity that has it's roots in ancient China. GiGong (Qi- life energy, Gong - it's perfect mastery) is a way of synchronizing mind and body through body movement and breath control. It can be used for medical reasons, as a form of meditation or as a martial art.
Acharya Samten Kobelt was born in Switzerland. In 1984 he became a student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. He studied and taught meditation for many years in the United States. He's been practicing QiGong in Eva Wong's lineage since 2005. Currently, he travels the world teaching body and mind disciplines such as meditation, QiGong and contemplative dance.
QiGong provides beneficial effects to our state of being, reduces stress, ensures the proper functioning of muscles, joints, ligaments and bones, facilitates the flow of oxygen and energy to our internal organs and improves the flow of Qi, our life energy, through our body.
There is a lunch break planned for each day of practice. The suggested donation for each level is 45 Euros.
